I was able to open a new thread in the old setting but from what John says that is irrelevant because the old style will soon be a thing of the past.

Even after John fixed the settings page, I still can't get my settings to save. All pages open for me in the new style. But, you're right, it doesn't matter anyway. Actually, I am seeing less and less difference between the old and new now. I think I can deal with this.

Now, if we can get our music and our backgrounds back on our profile pages, all will be well! LOL!

apologies if this has been asked/answered,
but was it your intention to remove the ability to click
a post number in order to copy the url of that paricular post ?

that sure was a nice handy way to point someone to a particular
post without having to wade through an entire thread...

and btw, the new format is lookin' really good, imho.
