No, I haven't tried that, but I did clear my cache. Didn't help.
If you're using IE, did you delete the files by going to
Tools -> Internet Options... -> Delete Files...(General Tab)? If you did but didn't do anything else--do this: Next to the
Delete Files... button is the
Settings... button. Click that button and in the next box select
View Files.... Your cookies should be the only files that are shown since you deleted everything else. Here select all the cookies or search for the
freerepublic.com cookies and delete them.
I decided to include these instructions just in case you didn't do this next step. Hopefully, if you didn't, it will help.
