I thought that Jesus is the Prince of Peace! I have never seen anywhere in the Bible that Mary is heaven's peace plan! Jesus is our only Savior! No other can give entrance into the Throne Room.

Thanks for the post

When the Israelites were in disobedience to God and rebellion against His Word, they were making sacrifices to the queen of heaven.

My mother was named Fatima after an aunt who was named for Mohammed's daughter. I've read all about Our Lady of Fatima since I used to be a Catholic. I advise you and any other Catholic to research what Moslems tell other Moslems about who Jesus Christ is. Moslems are not going to compromise Islam and accept Jesus Christ just because of the Fatima coincidence.

A Catholic nun in Syria has told me of her special intention for October 13th this year. Because part of the truth about Our Lord and Our Lady is told in Islam, she will be praying for the entire truth of Jesus and Mary to be revealed to the Muslim people around the world. She believes Our Lady and Our Lord will be appearing to Muslims either through dreams or apparitions inviting them to embrace the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
I believe this is a most worthy intention for all Catholics, and I wanted to share it with you and other Catholics on FR. I will also be praying the Chaplet of Divine Mercy at 3 in the aftermoon on October 13th. I heartily encourage Saint Faustina's devotion to the Divine Mercy at this time of crisis. God bless and keep US safe.

Moroccan Hand of Fatima Pendant:
Worn by Berber women & bellydancers, this 2" sterling silver filigree pendant protects against the Evil Eye! This is a prevalent symbol in the Middle East named after Fatima, the daughter of Mohammed. One story has it that Fatima was so upset when she saw her husband with his latest beautiful young concubine, that she burned her hand by unwittingly stirring the cooking food with it. Also known in Hebrew as Hamsa, the protective hand of God. 18" sterling silver chain included.
Note the Hand of Fatima jewelry in the 1914 photo of a young girl from Tunisia.

Haha, I almost posted the same image. Notice that the hand of Miriam/Fatima is usually positioned upside down. But wait, that's not really a middle finger. That 'hand' is something else. Some designs are more graphic than others.

I never thought about that. That makes a lot of sense.
(I first hit private reply by mistake, you can disregard)

That is how Satan works, he will tell 99% of the truth, to get you to swallow that 1% lie that takes you down.

Could you tell me what The Chaplet of Divine Mercy is please???
To: Diago
If Muslims REALLY accept the New Testament, then why do they continue to believe Mohammed? Mohammed said there were virgins is heaven. Christ said there is neither male nor female but we would be like angels. Mohammed said to NOT accept it when Chrisitans said that Christ is the WAY to heaven. Christ said, "I am the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE, NO man comes to the Father but by ME."...GOD DOES NOT SPEAK WITH A FORKED TONGUE.

Thanks for your post....The New Testament also says that there is only ONE mediator between God and man....JESUS....no one else.

Here is a link to a page on Catholicity.org:
The Chaplet of Divine Mercy
Part of the Chaplet includes these worlds:
For the sake of His sorrowful Passion:
have mercy on us and on the whole world.

It may be interesting, but Christ is the only way to the Father and the only mediator between God and man.

In addition, Islam accepts the New Testament of the Christians and the Old Testament of the Jews as Divinely inspired works. Sentence 3, first misrepresentation/distortion/lie. Followers of Islam can only believe that the Bible is the Inspired Word of God if if they disregard or distort what is written in the Bible. Their belief that Jesus is only a prophet is clearly spoken about in the Bible everywhere:
But unto the Son He saith, "Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever; a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Thy Kingdom.
The Islamic belief in the virginity of Mary puts to shame the heretical beliefs of those who call themselves Christian, while denying the perpetual virginity of Mary. Make no mistake about it, there is a very special relationship between the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Moslems! Putting aside our differences concerning the "perptual" virginity of Mary, only a fool would think that even if their is a special relationship between her and the Moslems that it is worth anything. The Bible clearly teaches that there is only One name under heaven which will save:
And it shall come to pass that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.' Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved."
For "whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
In the Crypt of St. Anne's Basilica, a statue of the Infant Mary is venerated on what is believed to be the exact spot where Our Lady was born. Not unto Mary, but unto the Lord give glory; for His mercy and His truths sake:
They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not. They have ears, but they hear not; noses have they, but they smell not. They have hands, but they handle not; feet have they, but they walk not; neither speak they through their throat. They that make them are like unto them; so is everyone that trusteth in them.
Our Lady appeared to a humble Aztec Indian convert by the name of Juan Diego in 1531. How come it is that the only "conversion" stories I hear about the RC is a vision of Mary? I would think that if one wanted to be saved that a vision of God would be much more comforting.
