Well said! I think you mean Michael Horowitz who wrote the forward to Their Blood Cries Out by Paul Marshall, the Worldwide Tragedy of Modern Christians Who are Dying for their Faith, good book.

Here's Ironword's bookmark page regarding Chinese persecution of Christians and there have been many threads about persecution.

Can I name one? No, but I'm no expert on the names of clerics in the Middle East. But of course they have done so. Do a search. There is a Muslim scholar who resides in Italy, who has done just that--even before 9/11.

Check out Dr. Laura's radio program from last Thursday (the replay is on HER WEBSITE. She had an Islamic scholar, a man of Egyptian birth and education who is now a U.S. citizen, on to discuss what the Qu'ran REALLY says. The program was most revealing.

Finally, stop displaying your profound ignorance. I know very little about the Middle East, but compared to some of you Cretins who don't seem to WANT to know anything that might deflate your hatred of others--in the which you are EXACTLY like the "jihadists"--I am a veritable GENIUS on the subject. Which isn't saying much, more's the pity.

Take the one about the "Pastor trying to stop them burning his church." Where? Who was the pastor? Who were the people? What situation was involved?

Yeah, that's the ticket - identify them so they can be dragged through the streets and made an example of.

How many people do you think you've converted over to your way of thinking on FreeRepublic?

Oh, is that why YOU'RE on Free Republic? Funny, I thought it was to learn. I know that's why I'm here.

Ok, genius, the FIRST rule of being a genius is, if you have to call yourself a genius, you ARE NOT A GENIUS. Any idiot knows that. Second, the question referred to Middle Eastern Clerics. They, mister genius, would typically be people who reside in the Middle East. NOT, people who appear on the Dr. Laura show. I can picture the members of the Taliban huddled in their caves crouched over and old radio listening to ...Dr. Laura. The Jewish American radio host.

Really, if this is the best you can do, I'll have to go to another thread. This is as bad as the guy with the screenname Mensa, who couldn't spell.

The same pattern is happening in India, swhere htere has been a pattern of repression against Christians and other religious minorities. In 1997, police broke up a Christian religious festival with gunfire. Since Christmas 1998, militant Hindu nationalists have burned churches, raped nuns, murdered priests, attacked Christian schools and prayer halls with impunity.

A missionary, Graham Staines, was burned to death along with his two young sons, ages 8 and 10, while they slept in their jeep. The Indian government has found a designated scapegoat, but otherwise no one responsible is being punished or even investigated. Instead, the government's response is to throw Mrs. Staines out of th country.

These acts have been carried out by members of the Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS), an organization founded in support of Naziism and Fascism, which is the parent organization of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP.) Their relationship is the same as that of the IRA and Sinn Fein. Last year, Prime Minister Vajpayee told an audience in New York, "I will always be a Swayamsewak."

Is this a country we want as a coalition partner?

Most people who know me know that I am far from anti-immigrant.

But I have to say that I can think of no reason why foreign nationals residing in the U.S. have an irrevocable right to continue to do so. They are here as our guests; they are here at our pleasure and they can leave when their welcome is at an end.

I think we need to begin terminating the visas of all resident aliens from Middle Eastern nations that are not pending citizenship. Some of them may be very inconvenienced. They may have bought homes, cars, they may even own businesses. I think we can buy them out at fair market value, and tell them that they are welcome to reapply for entry into this country in a few years, when things have all settled down.

These are extraordinary times and call for extraordinary measures. This is a different country now than it was one week ago.

I'm only surprised that we've heard nothing on this score. I think that the American people would approve handing our guests their hats and indicating to them that, we're sorry, but due to a family crisis it is important that they go home now while we attend to it.

Isn't Kalistan listed as a "terrorist" organisation? Britain is cracking down on Seikh terrorists too.

Read the article. It gives no particulars, no names of witnesses, it just assumes you'll swallow whatever they say.

Okay.

Now read the following post, and see if you can see the particulars and names of witnesses:

FREEPER WARNING: Crosswalk.Com is a known source of disinformation. Read and ponder at your own risk.

How do you spell FReeRepublic's own source of antiChristian disinformation?

I spell it "I-L-L-B-A-Y."

No, Khalistan is NOT a terrorist organization; it is a country, albeit one under occupation. It is the Sikh homeland which declared its independence on October 7, 1987.

While there have been some acts of violence, mostly in response to violence by the Indian government, India itself says that there is no militancy in Khalistan. The movement for Khalsitan's independence is led by an organization called the Council of Khalistan, which has explicitly and repeatedly rejected militancy and calls for a "Shantmai Morcha" (meaning peaceful agitation) to free Khalistan. I urge you to vheck this out by visiting their website, www.khalistan.com. The Khalistan movement is peaceful. democratic, nonviolent.

Britain has banned the International Sikh Youth Foundation (ISYF) under pressure from the Indian government, but ISYF is a peaceful, if ineffectual, organization which should not have been banned. Britain is simply acceding to a member of the Commonwealth.

This is called "propaganda" and it is there for the purpose of bolstering an agenda.

We do appreciate your being so candidly honest about the purpose of your post, Illbay. Truly refreshing.
