The very thought of self rightious people demanding that their point of view is the only one sickens me. This includes fanatic followers of Islam, Jews and , yes Christians! It is social-political and historical situations (and audiance hungry thirty 30 second selctive media images)that pursuade a small, but loud and dangerous, minority of fanatics to bring shame upon the world. I'm neither a Muslim, nor a Christian and I have no need to dislike either based on their holy books. Christianity has had at times sorry past, as yes present, of blood and intolerance and to deny this is, is to hide one's face in the sand. I appreciate our Presidents words and I believe what he says!

The Dark ages of Christianity happened when the Bible was only readable by a few Latin Scholars, thus the people were easily led to do things that were not in accordance with the Bible. Since the Bible was written in the common language of the people and they had easy access to it, there have been no crusades or inquisitions. The koran is easily read by their followers. In fact it has been the most educated countries that have led in jihad against the west and Israel. So the argument does not work. When there is a call for a crusade from the Christians in the next few months then you would have an argument.
