I agree completely. I would also add that the President needs a declaration of war from Congress now. Going to war with Congress trying to hold the reins and cover their own treason by refusing to declare war simply guarantees more destruction of our form of government such as what the politicians did during the Vietnam war.

i've seen this topic discussed in AOL and MSNBC chatrooms .... seems like those that were FR poster are upset because their posts have been pulled or their posting privileges revoked -the problem they are talking about is that it is very difficult to re-register because the "cookies" are not easily found and erased .... i don't know that these policies will strengthen the forum or weaken it -- I guess time will only tell.

Ohmigosh! Another "FR Is Doomed" thread! With all the times this prediction has been made, you'd think at least ONE of them would have been right. But I suspect FReepers will be attending a lot more funerals for its competition than vice versa.
Personally, I admire Jim's policy of making this forum a positive, supportive place for the war effort. Dissension is allowed, even encouraged, but the line is drawn a little closer to the helpful side, away from the self-indulgent nattering of folks like Lew Rockwell et. al..

.....Quite aside from the warmongering comments that now saturate the forum, opinion pieces that are strongly critical of our president, foreign policy, or sacred cows such as Ann Coulter tend to get yanked from their server pretty quickly........Are you gonna add to your list of sites to be FReeped antiwar.com?

Oh boo hoo. Malcolm can't get anybody else to read his garbage, so he writes something about FR hoping to get it posted so he can get his rocks off reading the comments. Malcolm, stop whining.

No doubt these folks on the forum were never good friends of the Constitution and Bill of Rights to begin with, and were staunch supporters of the war-on-drugs.This comment alone should tell everyone who's been here for awhile that the author is full of it. This is just typical for these people. In fact, I'd say it's typical for a lot of people that bash this site.
I hear over and over again about how FR is such a right wing site, for the "loony" crowd. People don't seem to realize that there is a broad range of opinion here. It gets frustrating sometimes.

"Oh, there are still a few voices of reason and noninterventionism on the forum, but they number maybe a couple of dozen, at most, while the warmongering majority rank in the several thousand"It breaks my conservative heart to say it but "he is right." Since the election of 1994 I have felt that many conservatives just paid "lip service" to traditional conservative principles. They talk big but voted Republicrat(no difference). The recent terrorist attacks have brought the message home that all most Freepers are simply flag wavers, "America right or wrong" rather than believing in conservative, constitutional principles and holding our government up against them.
I now thoroughly believe most Freepers could care less and know even less about what the constitution says. If this is what the conservative movement is, then there really is none.

I wonder if he took into consideration the age and immature of some of the posters. :)

Thanks for Cheryl. She's got meat on her bones. Now we need some enterprising freeper papparazzi to get some swimsuit shots of the Foxes on FoxNews.

Malcolm Garris (send him mail) is in charge of web graphics for Antiwar.com
LOLROF
Last night I told him on a thread that he put the graphic up of Ann for FR and now we get our own little garbage story from this guy. Stick to graphics.
