This could very well have been an autistic or similarly disabled young man who had no control over himself - and whose caretakers should not take on a plane anymore. Can't assume automatically that he's some kind of evil lunatic.

That's exactly the idea that I got from the article, a mentally retarded young man who in the past has been allowed to take a tour of the cockpit. Harmless, but how are the other passengers to know that. If that is the case, I'm sure his parents won't be taking him on planes in the future.
