Don't think Iris is a problem but Jerry could if it turns North.

DM, you will only need tips for when you are OFF the ship. On the ship, you may not ever pull out your wallet. All purchases are put on your shipbaord account and they charge a 15% gratuity on beverage purchases, etc. Your room steward, waiter and assistant waiter are tipped at one time on the last day. Recommended tips for them are $3.50/day for waiter and steward and $2.00/day for the asst. waiter. Other tips are at your discretion!

Satellite TV...yes. They also have on board computers but they charge by the hour, so it's usually best to just check your email and skedaddle!
BTW - Believe me, between, eating, on and off ship activities, nightly shows, seminars, etc., the agenda is pretty full, you will have to LOOK for time to get up!

Aye-aye, sir!
It's just that I know the tips for the cabin steward, waiters, etc have to be paid in cash as stated in the cruise docs. I am a credit card person so I don't normally carry much cash at all. Some cruise lines have started automatically adding the tips for waiters and stewards to onboard accounts, but RCI doesn't have that implemented yet. Bahama Mama recommended putting the gratuity money aside in envelopes so its ready to give out on the last night. She also reminded me about having a buck or two per bag handled for the porters.

Satellite TV...yes Thanks for the data. Just want to be sure we can keep up with events. Thanks Bob, and look forward to next week.
I see there are more than enough Californians coming. You might beat our Texas numbers. How unusual. :-)

Oh, good. That's after nap time. Larry and I like our naps on vacation.
Y'all will have to watch me. I'm trying to chicken out. It may take a bit of "liquid courage" just to get on the first plane.
We'll be at the Yankee Clipper Saturday nite. See y'all there.

I'm pretty sure it's shipboard computers. I doubt they have "T" line to patch into. You can always hook up your lappy to your phone in your room and dial up, but I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of THAT bill...heheh.

Us Californians have a greater incentive to get out of California!
