With all due respect, those people didn't lie, and Rush did. He said he was taking vacations, and he hid the fact that he was seeing doctors. He lied. Whatever his motive -- pride, independence, whatever -- he apparently held that value above the bond of trust with his audience. He lied. Oh please! Had Limbaugh told you the real reason for his absences, you'd be screaming about him "looking for sympathy". Quit being so shallow. It has nothing to do with the reasons for the days off, and everything to do with people using any reason to dump on him.
If he had said he was taking time off for "personal reasons", you'd still have been all over him. Give your hate for Limbaugh a rest for at least one day.
And actually, bro, he, like the rest of the world, says "I'm taking vacation time" and left it at that. What he DOES with it is another matter...
