I attended a Gun Show in Lower Alabama the 22nd and 23rd of last month. Because I go to every one held here, I can report no increase in attendance. Just your normal steady flow of rednecks (I'm one) buying guns every chance we get. Most are looking for private sales to bypass the registration process in the event of a national recall. I suspect many have purchased guns through normal channels at some time and shudder to think they would ever have to relinquish them.
Frankly, I'm glad dove season opened here Saturday. Now I ride to work with a shotgun in the truck so I can bird hunt behind my offices during the dinner (lunch) hour.
