There is a conservative character on the West Wing?

He can't say 'bimbo' and 'ESR panders to its readers with an obligatory photo of Ann Coulter' and be taken seriously. He's just a windbag, masquerading as a commentator. Let him go to Afghanistan, pronto.

They locked her in the basement and forgot all about her.

I liken "West Wing" to a bad science fiction show where all the creative little children take their weekly pablum from Martin Pothead. I'd rather watch Bill Moyers...argh

With all the important things going on in our world, it's hard to comprehend the reasoning behind the author wasting his time on such silliness.

I did not bother to read past the headline!

While historical Americans like Coulter were building this country, Wong's ancestors were in opium dens practicing their highly complex 5000 year old culture.

Your "rage" doesn't really seem all that "evolved" there, Slappy.

The author and the person who captioned the photo are likely different people.

I thought Wong was pretty fair-minded in his analysis. And although I supported Ann's comments, we Conservatives shouldn't eat our own either.

Despite what her many defenders on FR may think Coulter was never much of a "pundit", only a fair writer (and that is generous), with not very much good sense or maturity. There's a lot of me-me-me about her, just like her nemesis, little Billy Clinton.

Her career is toast.

"Apparently, in Ann's mind, she constitutes the
thin blonde line between freedom and tyranny…"

Oh, man, that's rich.

Our recent generations have never grown up. Unfortunately, one can't exempt Wong from this judgement. Even the title is very wrong. I don't have much use for either Coulter or Goldberg, but I can see that "bimbo" and "frat boy" don't describe either of them, nor does "imbroglio" do justice to the triviality and silliness of this childish mess. That may be the only saving grace of both. However much one cringes at some of the things they say, Coulter and Goldberg are certainly unique. But uniqueness and cleverness aren't enough.

Perhaps it's good that we have such stupid journalistic feuds. They remind all of us that whatever poses our pundits strike, they are still the kids on the school paper. The one's who looked on and wrote since they didn't have other talents or accomplishments.
