It is amazing how so many of them get mad when you show them what the Bible says, odd for people who call themselves Christians.
LUKE 1:26 In the sixth month of Elizabeths pregnancy, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a village in Galilee,
LUKE 1:27 to a virgin named Mary. She was engaged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of King David.
LUKE 1:28 Gabriel appeared to her and said, Greetings, favored woman! The Lord is with you!
Luke 1:46 Mary responded, Oh, how I praise the Lord.
Luke 1:47 How I rejoice in God my Savior!
Luke 2:21 Eight days later, when the baby was circumcised, he was named Jesus, the name given him by the angel even before he was conceived.
Luke 2:22 Then it was time for the purification offering, as required by the law of Moses after the birth of a child; so his parents took him to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord.
Luke 2:23 The law of the Lord says, If a womans first child is a boy, he must be dedicated to the Lord.
Luke 2:24 So they offered a sacrifice according to what was required in the law of the Lordeither a pair of turtledoves or two young pigeons.
Leviticus 12:1 The LORD said to Moses, Give these instructions to the Israelites:
Leviticus 12:2When a woman becomes pregnant and gives birth to a son, she will be ceremonially unclean for seven days, just as she is defiled during her menstrual period.
Leviticus 12:3 On the eighth day, the boy must be circumcised.
Leviticus 12:4 Then the woman must wait for thirty-three days until the time of her purification from the blood of childbirth is completed. During this time of purification, she must not touch anything that is holy. And she must not go to the sanctuary until her time of purification is over.
Leviticus 12:5 If a woman gives birth to a daughter, she will be ceremonially defiled for two weeks, just as she is defiled during her menstrual period. She must then wait another sixty-six days to be purified from the blood of childbirth.
Leviticus 12:6 When the time of purification is completed for either a son or a daughter, the woman must bring a year-old lamb for a whole burnt offering and a young pigeon or turtledove for a purification offering. She must take her offerings to the priest at the entrance of the Tabernacle.
Leviticus 12:7 The priest will then present them to the LORD and make atonement for her. Then she will be ceremonially clean again after her bleeding at childbirth. These are the instructions to be followed after the birth of a son or a daughter.
Leviticus 12:8 If a woman cannot afford to bring a sheep, she must bring two turtledoves or two young pigeons. One will be for the whole burnt offering and the other for the purification offering. The priest will sacrifice them, thus making atonement for her, and she will be ceremonially clean.
