God bless you.
It makes this veteran get a little choked up.
My first experience with the USO was as a nervous E1 coming home from BCT. I'd only been on an airplane once, this Minnesota boy was in scary NJ and I was newly out of place in the civilian world. The USO took me in at the airport in Newark, gave me some chow and a place to bunk after my flight was cancelled.
They came to me again and helped my troops and me get our spirits up during several deployments after I was commissioned.
The USO has a special place in my heart...and in my wallet.
