I used to read P.J. O'Rourkes great work in ROLLING STONE- but since I care very little about crappy popular music (actually, I don't give the southern end of a Northbound rat about ANY of it) I never read the junk that surrounded his pieces. Looks like that was a good decision!

If there is some sort of "award" for the most wretched piece of writing about the atrocities of 9-11, I want to nominate this. (And I will NEVER buy anything written by this moron).

Should we start a list here at this site? There's been a ton of bad writing on that subject, but I think this essay takes the cake. This guy makes Maureen Dowd look erudite.
