(Re: DU) Perhaps a psychologist could make sense of them.... I can just picture what the average Joe would say upon reading their paranoidal drivel: "Well, them FReepers are an okay bunch, but them 'ALLEGED FREEPERS'...they're a dangerous breed!"

So much of it all is 'informational incest'. Person A says something to Person B, who repeats it to Person C, who in turn repeats it back to Person A, who then claims, "You know, I've heard it said before so it must be true!"

I gotta go back to plotting the demise of Western civilization now so that the progressives* can feel good and righteous about themselves. ;)
