"The initiative is based on the premise that the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and the European Union (EU) are the two organizational cornerstones of the Atlantic Community. The Atlantic Community Initiative seeks to promote a dynamic and constructive relationship between the two organizations as well as more generally among democracies in the Euro-Atlantic area." Well, my FRiend, I can't say I agree with the basis of the Initiative, but thanks for the link nonetheless. You find some pretty kewl stuff, dude!!

Be sure to get to this part in the "Conclusion" section...
As a citizen of the Atlantic Community and a lover of freedom and democracy, I was thrilled to write this essay. I was thrilled to read about the men involved in bringing the Atlantic Community to life through the Atlantic Charter and North Atlantic Treaty! I am proud to be a citizen of the Atlantic Community and its great value on freedom, common heritage and democracy. I am willing to defend it myself with my life, as the Founders of the Treaty would have done! Erin S LaPorte
