Yes it has to be unrelated to the terrorism.

Salama is an Egyptian name. Another terrorist strike except this time he got cold feet. Thank God!

No offense, but I think I would give this pilot a lie detector test before I would believe any of this.

He said the man periodically repeated a word that sounded like "salama." Is this a joke or what? This sounds like something out of a Woody Allen movie! I'm with the person who said they'd give the pilot a lie detector test. I'd throw in a psychological exam too. I'll be the first to apologize, but this sounds down right cockomamie.

Salama is close to OSama. But, in any case, I am not sure this was related to Osama because it was only one hijacker. I don't know why it did not work also.

He said the man periodically repeated a word that sounded like "salama." There follows a short list of Arabic greetings and phrases. The transliterations are phonetic and intended to assist pronunciation. ..
Ma'a Salama - Goodbye

FBI supervisory agent Doug Beldon said Friday night's incident appeared to be isolated and unrelated to the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks on the Pentagon and World Trade Center. Weird thought. What if this guy was just trying to get out of dodge? Could be on the list of people who the feds want to question, and he had a notion of taking this plane, flying it really low down to the Mexican border?
How in the $#^@$#^%@ do they know it's an isolated incident? The guy appeared to be speaking in arabic, and he got away. So, they know it's isolated how? I bet the Bart Simpsons of the playground are going to start using that as a joke now. "Hey, wasn't me man, it was an isolated incident"

I'm glad she ran the plane off the runway. With a knife to her throat, even. Good for her. I'm glad she lived through it. Many haven't.

The pilot was taken to a Deming hospital, where was treated and released Saturday morning. The FBI and officials with Seven Bar Flying Service would not release the name of the pilotFound this HERE

Amazing how many unrelated events invloving Arab-sounding people or seeming Muslim terrorist acts have happened lately. And I've never bought into conspiracy stuff before either!

Shortly after the 9-11 attack, there was a warning by the FBI to fire depts, ambulance companies, etc. to be on the watch for an attempt to steal an ambulance. Perhaps this attempt on a Med-Evac plane fits into whatever scheme the FBI had gotten wind of.

My question to all the experts here: why would a medical transport plane be of interest to anyone in general, or a terrorist (in case this guy was a terrorist) in particular? Would it have been carrying something of interest, or might it have been the plane itself? Very curious.

I wonder what target this guy had in mind --- Los Alamos National Laboratory maybe?

Another unrelated and isolated incident I was going to say the Daily unrelated and isolated incident, but we are up to about two per day now.

Glad to see that this was just a random incident and not connected to terrorism.

Hmmm. New Mexico. Last week on a radio program I heard a cop from Texas say the FBI had issued a "Attempt to Find" bulletin about a 40 ft. rental truck with the decals removed that had not been returned. Last seen driven by "two Middle-Eastern men." What's in New Mexico? Los Alamos?

I've been reading the above sentence pretty often lately. Maybe some of the weird incidents lately aren't related, but it's enough to make me wonder.
