If Mr. Stevens had flown recently, I hope they check the health of all the passengers on the plane(s) with him.

Why? Anthrax is NOT transmitted person-to-person. I hope that you are not thinking that someone would use anthrax in an airplane. Not a very effective use of it.

No, I'm well aware that it is not transmitted person-to-person. However, if you need a lot of people cooped up in a small area without a decent source of fresh air, seems to me a plane would be an area of concern. Especially since anthrax spores would probably get past security a lot easier than a boxcutter. As far as the efficacy of this goes, no-one had ever tested what would happen when you fly a jumbo jet into a skyscraper, either. Seems to me, the authorities should keep the plane scenario in mind.
