Some ought to take those of the ACLU behind the woodshed and horse whip some sense in them.... literally speaking.....
But, a kudos should be handed to Breen Elementary Principal, Terry Thornton for handling this issue and dealing with it as it stands. :o)

The ACLU is an unofficial American auxillary of Bin Laden's organization and should be treated as such.

"Stella Richardson, media relations director for the ACLU of Northern California, said, "It is entirely unprecedented" for a school not to take down a message such as Breen displays."September 11 changed a lot of things. ACLU and other terrorist organizations are in for a hard time.

Like this is the way from now on. These commie groups attack an American tradition and the right stand in their face and say no. Get the he*& out of this country if you want to stand with evil. Guess how many democrats and liberals are jumping ship. A lot right now.
The real leftist don't know what to do they are being stood up to. Glory days are coming back for America.

These enemies of freedom and America are gonna start seeing a lot of "unprecedented" backlash against their ilk who have slimed our nation for too long.
God bless Breen Elementary School!

Thanks for the post. Where is the contact info so that this divisive witch and her cohorts can be "communicated with". These folks need a good talking to, plus, plus.

Before receiving the letter, Rocklin Superintendent Kevin Brown said he had received calls from two people asking that the statement on the marquee be removed. And WHO is being divisive? If two(2) Christian fundamentalists asked that a Harry Potter book be removed from the library, you KNOW that the ACLU would write a letter to the school in support of their position

I am a school photographer in WA state. I have seen many schools with "God Bless America" on their school or district signs. I say God bless the schools or districts that do so.

Wow, a public school that is civic minded and shows some patriotic pride. This is so unusual for this type of institution.

It's about time we did something FOR THE CHILDREN and booted the ACLU outta here.....tell them to go find a better country....

Now, how in the world can a school violate the US Constitution? The ACLU seems to be an organization made up of constitutionally illiterate morons.

The ACLU contends that the words broadcast "a hurtful, divisive message."I guess Irving Berlin was a member of the Christian Right in the eyes of the ACLU. Amazing.

Another thought: This message doesnt DIVIDE people along religious lines, it UNITES people across religious faiths. THe ACLU is claiming the opposite of reality.
Compare for example, the ACLU's divisive calls with the interfaith service Bush called for in wake of the attack.

I am constantly amazed at the ability of one dissenter to change what a majority wants.

"It must be replaced immediately," says the letter from Margaret Crosby, staff counsel for the ACLU of Northern California, based in San Francisco. If the students are serious about leaving the sign up, all they need to do is physically block its removal. It will be interesting to see how determined they are.
These stories usually fizzle out, though, with the ACLU having its way.

"God Bless America" bad, but teenage abortion on demand good, says ACLU Dimwit Leftwingnut Lawyer
Just so you know where this intolerant Crone comes from ...
Abrotion Case argued by Margaret Crosby
So kids are not allowed to see the words God Bless America in a school, but are allowed to abort without their mos and dads knowing.
This is the America the ACLU wants to create. How wretched!
