That is NOT a politically viable option.Our soldiers die unnecessarily if we act because of political necessity instead of military expediency. This will take leadership, not poll-driven attacks. Otherwise, let's just shoot the rest of our cruise missiles off (the few that survived Clinton's need to distract from his scandals) and go home.
I think we ought to demonstrate our ability to walk and chew gum at the same time. I believe there are more than a few "target rich" environments located in such choice locales as Iraq and the Sudan, no? Targets such as testing and development facilities for radical Islam's weapons of mass destruction. Saddam's chemical and biological weapons facilities need destroying and I see no time like the present. What are we worried about? The feelings of our glorious coalition partners, like Egypt? Or Uzbekistan?
