I think they should be fired if they refuse to fly. Who elected them to make these policy decisions? They are 10 folks who would be eager to take the place of each of them, sans guns unless and until the public square deemed it prudent. Another quick question Torie, if we put the Bill of Rights to a vote before the public square, how many of our rights do you think would survive?
P.S. Didn't mean to hit you too hard, but I feel very strongly that the best defense to terrorism is to not act like victims, but instead to arm yourself and fight back whenever the opportunity presents itself.

No. But I live in a very low crime suburb. So did Sharon Tate and Nicole Simpson.

Q: Do you own a gun?
No. But I live in a very low crime suburb.
Does that mean I can stop wearing my seatbelt because I have an excellent driving record and drive a big vehicle?
Does that mean I can get rid of my smoke detector because I don't smoke, have all electric appliances, and live in a house less than four years old?
Does that mean we can get rid of airline security since out of all the flights which occur every year, an infintecimally small percentage get hijacked?
Anybody else have more examples to demonstrate absurdity by being absurd?

No. But I live in a very low crime suburb. Not any more. We all live in a higher threat of terrorism neighborhood...
