Perhaps you can help me. During the VietNam war a fellow co-worker had to go. He was young, as was I, and I told him if he sent me his address I'd write to him. He sent an APO address and I wrote to him while he was in VietNam. When he came back he held my hands and said "You will never, ever know how much your letters meant to me". Now I'd like to do the same for a military person engaged in our current war. but I knew Jimmy and he sent me an address. I've searched the Internet and can't find anything about writing to a military person who might, like Jimmy, have anyone who will write. Today I went to our local American Legion hall, expecting to find someone who might help and just found a bar with about six guys. I feel this is important and I'd really like one American soldier to know that this American appreciates what he's doing for us and helping in any way I can. Can anybody help as to identifying a soldier who may need letters from home? Thanks!

G-D it's been a long time ... I believe that since I was Navy my family sent me mail thru the FPO (fleet post office) I could ask my mom how they sent me mail. My sister used to send me rice krispie treats (one of my favorites) You have NO IDEA how good it felt to get those
