Sorry for the vanity, but this is just too tasty. I get real-time quotes, and watch salon.com. Now at 16 cents a share. It appears to be in a free-fall now, losing 3 cents since this morning with the most shares I've seen traded in weeks. Somebody is bailing out bigtime.
Now the question. To buy 20 shares of salon.com or get a grande latte at Starbucks. Hmmm...

Ack. Up to 20 cents now. Someone bought appx 15000 shares driving the price up.

It would be funny if demand for the shares by FReepers drove the price back up
to $11, or whatever it was that charged at IPO.
I for strictly obeying all the applicable laws, but it would be funny to see
Freeper demand drive up the price of the company to see some liberal lint-head pay some
outrageously inflated price for a "whole lotta' nuthin'"!
I wouldn't be suprised if fear of impending Freeper control/influence
(even as stock-holders) might not get some rich lefty to empty their bank account!

At 16¢, it's still overvalued.

It looks like that sponsorship of PBS airtime won't be lasting much longer....darn not enough money to keep brainwashing our kids into reading their piece of sh!t internet site.
I have only one thing left to do:
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!! I'm crying tears of JOY!

For 16 cents, we could chip in and buy Salon, then turn it over to Fox News or EIB :)

They actually did have a few interesting features, and a few good thinkers, if only as tokens - Horowitz, Paglia, and lately Norah Vincent.
BUT ... they were Clinton Kool-Aid drinkers, ready to sacrifice anything to preserve the SinkEmperor. That cancels out anything good they might have ever done.

Perhaps we should pass the hat around and buy the company. FR could use the additional server capacity. Jake could run errands, make coffee, and keep the place tidy.

Shazbot! Oh, well, there's always tomorrow. What's funny is that it is up 5.26% for the day, which equals... wait for it...
...wait for it...
...one shiny PENNY.
