I grew up in Mason - when it was still a town of 5,000 people. My dh and I (along with our 2 sons at the time - now we have 3) - moved to to the Louisville/southern IN area 14 years ago, due to a job transfer. My family is still in Mason and my dh's family is in northern KY.
My grandfather (died 2 years ago at the age of 90) - was the police chief and fire chief of Mason for 26+ years. (BTW - many, many wonderful Freepers helped me get through that terrible time with their prayers. Anyway - I digress:
Yes - it was a nice, small town to live in--WAY back when!!!
Does anybody remember when the Brady Bunch visited Kings Island on their show? I was working there, then.
Yeah, I remember that Brady episode - what a kick it was! Remember when they had the whaddayacallit - those cars that went over the park on wires, what was it called? People kept getting stuck in them. I miss the old KI.
