This is true. Many here are calling this a deliberate attempt to contaminate the blood supply, though, and attempted murder. I haven't seen anyone advocate lying about one's HIV status, which would be heinous.
Thanks, and I agree with your sentiment; those homosexual individuals who have only defied organizational regulation, and have contributed no factually-tainted blood, are not guilty of "attempted murder" any more than is a sexually-active-but-"careful" heterosexual who has committed a similar deceit.
Nonetheless, anyone who perpetrates fraud against the clear organizational/associative regulations of a voluntary private enterprise are guilty of a sort of Criminal Mischief, and should be liable for prosecution for some form of Trespass at least -- whether heterosexual or homosexual.
