Americans,
We've been saturated with the horrible images of September 11, yet now the images are starting to fade as we get on with our lives.
But, we can't afford to forget. Our enemy is still out there. He wants us complacent. He wants to catch us cold again. The coming war on terrorism may well last for years. The cost in lives, both military and civilian, will likely be very high. The gains may not be very spectacular or heartening. We'll naturally tend to forget and grow weary of the fight; We'll shrink from the pain and question what we're doing. We'll need something to help us remember. the rest of the article

Hope he made it back after the mistaken banishment in March.
BTW, here's image from "I Promise" which proposes the "Twin Tower Salute" as unifying gesture for Americans.

Did all that Freeper stuff get set up the way you wanted?
Didn't hear any more about it. Did you alert Jim?
Yes, there'll be a genuine FReeper wedding at the Knob Creek nat'l machine gun shoot this Friday by a Second Amendment Sister and a fine feller that she's picked out for herself.
A party and a barbecue will follow after the ceremony on the subgun range.
I won't be doin the marryin' for the for the FReeper/SAS lady. I only assured her a backup for an official to preside in case needed.
Seems like they've made arraignments for good man, a parson, to be present.
Me and ol' FReeper Logos will be on hand as spectators though.
The pistol pakin' Logos is an ordaned country preacher and I have the power of Justice of the Peace. So, we'll make sure her catch stays caught for this joyous occasion.
They always have after-action video tapes with all the weekend's highlights with great sound effects.
The video tapes give good accounts of all the noteworthy matches and events. They even show night action with tracer ammo fired at exploding drums and flame throwers in action.
I'll bet that they even tape our "sister" getting married.
Is he going, too?
