Noticed a decrease in illegals since vets have joined the front lines? We sure have here in Maine. Even the Candaian poachers are staying in Canada. Seems they aren't quite sure we won't shoot first. Gonna be a bumper year for game, what with the poacing cut in half.

You know, the vast majority of the emails and other messages we have gotten so far are from Marines, and Special Forces vets.
Kinda makes ya wonder where the Seals are in this thing. Gotta show you one such email.
Why only vet's under 60? I'm 71, don't wear glasses and can still shoot straight! I can furnish my own ammo and guns, 9mm & Nato(Win 308). Checked out in 14 diff. single engine aircraft so when do we roll? Prefer to stay in the PacNorthWest tho!
And this one:
... why did you restrict this message? signed: a vet (usarmy special troops 1966-1968) and 61 years old.
And the ones from women vets wanting in, but no Seals or sub drivers yet.
Oh weel, we Marines always did have to do the dirty work, guess the others will join the day after is't over.

Don't knock the SEALS. They like to remain anonymous. Worked with them and they don't come any better. They just swim better than I. LOL Semper Fi, Mike

Don't knock the SEALSI'm not, I'm just having fun with them, gonna go for a wak with one in about ten minutes, see if we can't shke up another Canadian poacher. You know, if you can catch a poacher, there aint no Arab gonna sneak by.

I'm a vet and I'm up for whatever's needed.
I'm not a snake eater (and I really don't care for MREs), but I'm here if there's a need.

Mike-
You've got to be kidding. I went for 43 days on one deployment without ever eating an MRE (although I did have to choke down T-Rats twice a day.
The vegetarian MREs are good -- so are the Kosher ones. But the idea of eating tuna with noodles, one of those disgusting flat fruit cakes or worse yet MRE bread (that would be "bread, shelf stable").
Man, some of the things I've eaten or attempted to eat! Who can forget:
~ Ranger Pudding Tear open your bag of cocoa at one of the sides. Grab your pouch of crackers and crush them up. Dump in the non-dairy creamer and sugar from your accessory packet. Pour in enough water to moisten the mixture. "Served in the finest eating establishments downrange."
~ Ranger Cookies Grab your bag of non-dairy creamer. Light it on fire. Eat.
~ Hot Chow Use the manifold on your M1A1 OR use the MRE heater provided by Uncle Sam. Tear it open. Insert your entree in the bag. Add water. Hold nose (it stinks). Lay bag on ground and support it with a "rock or something" (actual words from the bag -- cracks me up to this day).

Well you must be younger than I and probably ARMY because I remember the "C's" and the "L's" which if my memory serves me right you added hot water to. But during the monsoons in Southeast Asia we didn't get supplied so we hunted for food. I remember killing a wild boar and everone chipping in their salt and the boys from the down South cleaning and cooking that sucker all day...man it didn't taste bad! Sure beat starving.
