Chuck Baldwin just doesn't get it. God judges OTHER nations for their wickedness--Russia, Germany, Japan. They got what they deserved, and they should have accepted it as the price of their sins. When they slaughtered innocent people, they were being undemocratic and oppressive, and thus, their actions called down God's wrath. America is different: When we slaughter babies, we are exercising
freedom and
democracy.
So, you see, it's completely different. And preachers who say otherwise are just as bad as the men who hijacked those planes!

If He was teaching anything, it's that religious intolerance has
no place among civilized man.

I assume of course that everyone on those planes or in the target buildings was Gay, had an abortion, is an adulterer, divorced or was not a born again x-tian or a Mother Angelica approved Catholic.

The author is assuming a good deal about Sodom and Gomorrah. The Bible never clearly states exactly what the sins of Sodom & Gomorrah (and three other cities - we keep forgetting it was five cities destroyed at once) were. Since there are other Biblical references to the widows and daughters of Sodom, presumably the inhabitants were hetero and so forth. The Talmud suggests that these were cities living on banditry. But the Bible never clearly says that these cities were hotbeds of homosexuality (that use of the term sodomy started in the middle ages).

God has judged this nation. And despite all the attempts to rationalize how good we are and how God judged Sodom and Gommorah for their inhospitality to travelers or banditry, for God's sake, we will see firsthand how He brings judgement upon an immoral and Godless nation.

I think we can gather somewhat of Sodom's troubles from Genesis 19. The Sodomite's demand outside Lot's house, that they be given the two angels to rape. That's enough for me.

Oh that all peoples were as 'religiously intolerant' as the founding fathers of the U.S. of A.

They got what they deserved, and they should have accepted it as the price of their sins. I thought that's what hell was for or is their some kind of double jeopardy
Please explain also whose wrath or judgement an 8 year old suffering with leukemia or a person dying of brain cancer has incurred.
Do you people ever bother to use logic before uttering this bilge

If He was teaching anything, it's that religious intolerance has no place among civilized man. Sounds like you've made your god in your own image. How does he/she/it/they reveal himself/herself/itself/themselves? I'll stick with the God who has revealed Himself through the Bible.

It doesn't?? Thats news to me. Jude 1:7 "Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forward as an example, suffering the vengence of eternal fire."
To: pubmom
So Lot offered to throw his two daughters to the crowd instead.
And that's enough for ME.

So it was God who smashed planes into the WTC?

I assume of course that everyone on those planes or in the target buildings was Gay, had an abortion, is an adulterer, divorced or was not a born again x-tian or a Mother Angelica approved Catholic. When God brought judgment on Israel, even one of His own prophets went into exile. The Chaldeans did not spare the children or babies. God often does not do things the way we (you) think He should.
