Shame on you..........I hope you don't have a spouse and children who have to listen to that kind of talk.

"Gritty Kitty Cat Litter" was Stimpy's favorite on the Ren and Stimpy show...

I love cats and am a cat-owner.
But in light of the horrible tragedy that has befallen 7,000 human beings, forgive me if I don't get "misty eyed" over an animal.

What a great story, also DJoyce!!! Thank you for sharing your kitty story.
My RooRoobird (the original one) was within minutes of being euthanized at an animal shelter, so I just grabbed her and took her home with me right then and there (I was a volunteer at the shelter).
She lived to the ripe old age of 24 and was the best kitty I ever had.

My young son learned to hate them early. Especially after we had to abondon his sandbox due to cat poop and two infections from ringworm. As he grew older he began to hate them even more when we had to abandon our horse shoe pit because cat poop was always there when you wanted to play.
Needless to say he learned early that when you have cat problems there is only one solution to the problem!

Dear Spook,
As my servant has found, it is unnecessary to open the screen door when you can simply rip a slit in the screen itself and exit and enter at will.

You can buy them on ebay. Here's one: http://search-desc.ebay.com/search/search.dll?MfcISAPICommand=GetResult&ht=1&SortProperty=MetaEndSort&query=Nitty+Gritty+Kitty&srchdesc=y
Or just search for nitty gritty kitty.

OHMYGOSH, THAT'S AMAZING!!!! I can't imagine a human surviving under similar conditions!
That's reminds me of an AP wire story I read a few years ago: a mama cat got shut into a shipping container and wasn't discovered until the ship arrived in port SIX WEEKS LATER--apparently she had given birth during the trip. Mama and kittens were very weak and dehydrated, but they all lived. Thanks, DJoyce!

To the person who brags of killing cats: I'm sure you are a wonderful human being otherwise. (/sarcasm).
People who hate cats hate people, and themselves as well. They just aren't as willing to admit it about humans. I'm sure if you explain to the children whose pets who they love with all their hearts that they had to die because of muddy footprints on your car I'm sure they will understand. Selfish bastard. i'm so glad you said that! people like that are so mean-spirited!

but when you are give your cat a slice of turkey and its tail wags...its happy. You shouldn't give your cat turkey. Turkey has tryptophan, which makes even people sleepy. If you give your cats turkey, they'll just spend all their time sleeping.

Thanks for the heartwarming story.

My cat was a "dog" cat that hated to have her privacy invaded by dogs. She once jumped on a German Shepherd's back and rode him out of the garage. He NEVER invaded her space again.
