I do have a request from a coworker. Her neighbor's son was shot in the head over the weekend. Apparently he is still alive but was involved in some things he shouldn't have been and that's what led to the shooting. Please pray that God touches that family in many ways

Heavenly Father, please keep this beloved Uncle in the palm of Your hand. Guide his surgeons, physicians and all care-givers in every way, and grant them Your perfect insight in how to care for him. Cause every system in his body to function perfectly, let the surgery go as planned without any incident. Forbid that any post-surgical bleeding should harm him or delay his recovery. Keep him free from hospital-acquired infections, and instead stimulate his body to recover rapidly. Keep his veins open, Dear Lord, so that fluids and medicines can be administered for his benefit. Speak to him during his recovery, and if he does not know Your Son Jesus Christ, please reveal His mighty work which was done for him. Thank You Father! In Jesus' name...Amen!

I'm sorry billbears...I missed this earlier.

Heavenly Father, You love each of us utterly. It's difficult to imagine how deep Your love for us is, regardless of how often we stumble. Thank You for the gift of Your Son...and for the realization of how precious and costly that gift was for You.

Father, another mother is in grief because her son was rebellious...and now he is seriously injured. Father, we know that You are desirous that ALL will accept the gift of life from Your Son, and that You are patient and merciful. Please return this son to his mother and all who truly love him. Heal his wounds, Mighty God, and speak to him throughout his convalescence...open his heart so that he hears and accepts Your Son Jesus Christ as his Savior. Let his recovery in body and spirit be complete, and let him emerge as a changed person...changed through the power of Your Holy Spirit to a life of service for You. Let his thoughts, words and deeds from now on be a blessing to his family, instead of a heartache. And through his powerful testimony, let others be converted and healed. Thank You Father! In Jesus' name...Amen!
