The experts say that the only creatures that will live through a nuclear war are rats and cockroaches. Do you know what that means?
Only democrats left?

Interesting, and pretty funny too!
This link: http://www.ki4u.com/nuclearsurvival/arktwo/index.htm
Has a warning that counts-down to the year 2000 and asks "What will you do"??
I guess my answer is just what I did. Play on the computer and see 1999 pass into 2000 with no problems (No, I didn't even shut my computer down. LOL!)

The Ark Two Community in Canada has a 10,000 sq/ft nuclear shelter as part of its refuge facility. This may be the largest Privately Constructed nuclear fallout shelter in the world. 42 buses were used as forms to pour a minimum of 12 inches of high strength concrete that was heavily reinforced with rebar. A minimum of 5 feet to a maximum of 14 feet of earth was pushed back overtop.Good God, talk about a lot of work. If I could still find one intact, I'd settle for an old Coast Defense battery... but since they were located near harbors, they tend to be pricey nowadays.
