What if the second in command turns him in, we give them A billion to keep going? Don't make sense.

You probably have to read the fine print on the reward.

How about half now, and half when the job is done.

Frankly, I'd rather see a Scout Sniper execute the "Death of a Thousand Cuts" at 1000 meters: first shot takes off Osama's left ear, second shot takes off his nose, third shot takes off his right thumb, fourth shot .............

It would be "WTC style justice" if it requires a DNA match to verify that it's really him.

A little take-off on your idea, and yet keep the incentive prize: Give the billion to the ground pounder who puts a slug between Bin Laden's eyes. Bigger prize than Survivor. Not that they need any more incentive -- these men know their jobs -- but a nice reward for the grunt that gets there first.

Give him the billion, then freeze it as terrorist money and plug the guy who turns him in too -- for good measure. Two for the price of none.

Time to drop massive amounts of wanted posters to the people of Afghanistan. That equals out to 4,750,000,000,000 Afghani bucks. Nice chunk of change. A LOT of needy people over there, including thousands of those in the Taliban army. Once the word gets around to the people, I'll give Osama 24 hours, that is if he's lucky to last that long.

A Billion dollars is four times the GDP (outside of heroin) of the entire country of Afghanistan. He's toast.

Have to respond. There is a "cure" for tumor type cancers. It's called Hydrozine Sulfate. Do a search on it.

Dr. Gold (Mayo Clinic[sic]) was asked why it isn't promoted. His response?
"There's no money in it."

You can get it with out a prescription...

This is a terrible idea...all this will do is muddy up the water with alot of wannabee's. We have Spec Ops we don't need a bunch of "cowboys" getting in the way. Semper Fi, Mike

Last time we deployed Marines against Muslim terrorists, we lost, 238 to 1.

If a 'bounty hunter' wants to save us some trouble, let him go ahead and try.

I wonder if this is the one coming out of Silicon Valley ...

If it is, then it is probably a billion dollars in stock options that will be worth about $1,000 when you can excercise them.

Those in the know would prefer 7 vigins for enternity, I understand.

Send them to Korea. They're not virgin, but just as delightful.

"The fine print probably says, 'No terrorists, extremists or their families are eligible'."

Thanks, bond7, I really enjoyed that.

Let's hope some turkey worse than bin Laden doesn't get it and invest in a new terrorist network.

This is about as dumb as people lining up for hours because the big lottery prize jumps to 100 million instead of 5 million. Most of the people who are buying lottery tickets would see a lot bigger lifestyle change with the first 5 million then they would by going from 5 to 100 million. Likewise, someone who would turn in Bin Laden for a billion would probably turn him in for a million. This is overkill.

For a billion dollars, I will go get him myself. But it better be tax free.
