Cogent analyses, Mia. I want to add that I know the "camel hit" fiasco was never from an attempt at containment. I happened to call a senior official heading a Pentagon department the day before the missiles were lobbed [Read "The Missiles of August" by Seymour Hersch in that '98 issue of The Atlantic Monthly], and official clearly had great angst about scrambling to follow an order to find targets hastily following clinton's modified grand jury questioning. Clearly, there had not been an attempt to prepare to react to the attempted assassination of former President Bush weeks before, only clinton's personally motivated and hastily conceived attempt to irresponsibly and peevishly react to his own perception of himself as humiliated (rather than feeling humility for his severe shortcomings). Even clinton's chosen lackey as head of Joint Chief's, Shelton is quoted as being against clinton's decision in the article cited above. My addenda: I do not capitalize names that don't deserve any recognition as entities with any integrity.

Your marvelous posts do not mention Madeline Albright and her "contributions" to a failed foreign policy, the smoozing of Arafat etc. And what was the name of the dame who opened the doors to Los Alamos, beginning the Clintons failed attempt at (and trusting others to do the same) giving state secretes to the world believing if all had the "genii" all would come to peace or some such nonsense. I see Hillary's hand in most of those appointments i.e., black feminist women whom she wanted to help move ahead at the expense of the American people.
