What about vet supply stores?Hmmm, I dunno. Here's an
webmd.com article about Cipro.
Turns out I was on a drug similiar to cipro with a urinary tract problem. When they said stay out of sunlight they weren't kidding. Got burnt after 10 minutes in Seattle sun.
I would imagine that doggy doses of cipro are pretty low compared to humans so you would have to get a lot more.

Turns out I was on a drug similiar to cipro with a urinary tract problem. I can guess why, after reading up on it in the last half hour. Ciprofloxacin is in the quinolone family - i.e. quinine. Guess what simple home remedy works against urinary tract infections? CRANBERRY JUICE. Guess what it contains? Quinolone. It wouldn't hurt to have a supply of cranberry juice on hand in ones home as part of emergency preparedness. Bottled cranberry juice (make sure it's "juice" not "drink").
