People who throw up the "Constitution" as an argument for every issue (especially this one) are just incapable of making their case using facts.

Ashcroft is more than willing to "sunset" these provisions, which is in itself ridiculous when you consider what we're up against right now.

If you think supporting the Socialist/Democrat mugging of our intelligence agencies will protect your rights...go tell it to the 5000 people buried under a million tons of rubble in lower Manhattan.

I never thought there was a "looney right" till now.

The Bill of Rights does not mug intelligence agencies, it keeps them from becoming carbon copies of KGB and Stasi. It isn't socialists that you have a problem with, socialist countries are practically defined as having no such protections.

No, you're problem rests with those who wrote and ratified the Bill of Rights. In effect, you're calling Madison, Jefferson and Hamilton socialists.

Here's a clue for ya: Socialists love big government with unlimited powers for the 'public good'. So what are you supposed to be? A Constitutional Conservative? Think again.
