I guess we're all old enough to remember what worked so effectively during World War II in places like Guadalcanal, Iwo, Tarawa, etc. I imagine it won't be long before we hear screams of "barbarism," "inhumanity," etc. from the Peaceniks. Of course I fail to see the difference between flame thrower fuel and jet fuel used as a burning bomb against civilans in skyscraper "caves."

how about a nice big neutron bomb? that'll put the occupants of this lair out of their misery real quick with minimum collateral damage and also leave it intact for exploration of the tunnels.
