I screwed up. The actual title is:
It Usually Begins With Ayn Rand by Jerome Tuccille

It is out of print but you can find it used. I think my copy is in a box in spare bedroom. It was a real hoot! All the little "Dagny's" dressed up in capes and things. When trying to find the title, I saw that he has a new book out, "It Still Begins With Ayn Rand." So natch I ordered it. (PS, I actually have a signed Ayn Rand book, "For the New Intellectual" - Pretty good stuff in it.)

"Own" in the sense of this:

Truman and Eisenhower surrendered the West's
property rights in oil, although that oil rightfully belonged to
those in the West

I don't think I've read that. Is Jerome Tuccille also known as JD Tuccille? Ol' Ayn rooted up an acorn once in awhile. It's her worshippers that get me to snickerin.

Thanks for a very good reminder of 'why we're here' in this situation.

Of course, our gutless Senate that allowed the criminal, treasonous Clintons to walk are in character (less) with no war declaration.

Yeah Ayn did make some good points. Her analyses were often quite good. Named my daughter after her, btw. I would have loved to have met her and convinced how she was wrong about some stuff though.
