What a lovely, up-beat and down-home article. Of course Deborah Orin is a favorite. Thanks for finding and posting this, Kat. My spirits are lifted!

I love their human-ness. It is touching to hear these things about our First Family.

Note that the President left a 50 percent tip --- I seem to recall that Hillary stiffed her waitress.

The Wall Street Journal published the President's daily schedule in Thursday's editions. Face time with Rice, Powell and Ashcroft. Nothing listed for Rumsfeld.
A Bad, Bad Show if you are supposed to be prosecuting a war.

Normalcy is the point of this article and I find it interesting that the Bush daughters are calling more often. So are my daughters and son. Everyone is more in touch with their families and friends. Our President is our leader in more ways than just deploying our troops. I am sure that Rumsfeld is quite in touch with President Bush so what is with the snide remark?

I am so comforted during these troubled times to know that it is the Bushes who are in charge. I love this family!

Clinton 1:45:21 <-- includes stop at McDonald's, tryst with prostitute in the bushes and covert visit to campaign money launderers to demand more funds.

There are tons of "Tex-Mex" eateries in DC but I have yet to find a good one. I'll have to try the El Paso next time I am in town.

And when they paid the bill, they left a 50 percent tip. Waiters of the nation ought to be tripping over themselves to first serve this guy and then vote for them. The Clinton's were notorious for stiffing either the service or the entire bill believing that it was an entitlement to their position and greatness as opposed to them actually paying for services rendered to an alleged "public servant".
It must really rile them up to see how GWB just seems to shine with class where they ooze with the "other stuff".

So, this is what it's like having a normal president? Wow! The haze of 8 years of brainwashing has been lifted.
And yes, Hillary did stiff a waitress...not too long ago. I hope everyone out there working as a waiter/waitress can get a look at this article.

When GW was out at The Colony the waitstaff were thrilled. They said he was so nice and very friendly. He put his arms around two of the waiters assigned to his table for a photo. They, both (legal) immigrants, were showing everyone the pictures and the mementos given them.
The Bushes and their associates are a true class act.

Did Carville drag a $100 bill thru a trailer park and pick up the Clintons, or vice-versa?
