Don't let them handcuff us further. The ID card for citizens can be made to sound so innocuous. So was the income tax when it was first proposed. "Oh, it's only for the very, very rich. It'll never be applied to the rest of us."

They are our servants. Their jobs depend on how effectively they can lie to us. They were largely responsible for creating the mess we're in. If you had domestics who let suicidal murderers destroy the lives of your loved ones and reduce your property to rubble, would you give them more power?

Let them think about who they really are -- our servants. Treat them like servants in disgrace. Let them ponder their lives with an ID card to worry about.
