Heard story on Fox News this afternoon re big money types from Silicon Valley and other locations, mainly in California, forming organization to put up $20 million reward for bin Laden and hire mercenaries to go after terrorist camps in Afganistan and elsewhere. They named no names although Ross Perot was hypothesized as perhaps one of them (after inflicting two terms of Clinton on us, he does owe the Country bigtime). Those involved were described as having given millions to both Republicans and Demorats in the past...

Sorry if this was a repost - couldn't find it in a search and haven't heard it reported anywhere else. Sounds far-fetched, but would be interesting if true...and Fox News would never lie to us!

That was my thought on their "capture of military" reports....I think they were actually Mercs hired as described in the report you are referring to. That would be the best logic as far as reporting a capture and then a denial...as they would be showing off captured military. If they captured a hired hitman, there is no celebrations for them. I have more faith in our military to elude capture from a few sheephearders.

No. It's not far fetched.
A PR firm is handeling the donations. I remember the firm was from CA, but can't remember the name. I even checked out their website when I heard about it.
Lasis, or Lasi or something like that.
Anyone fron CA here who thinks this sounds familiar?

PS...being from NY, I remember the name of the PR firm sounded a lot like "Lazio", Hillarys opponant.

I don't care what anyone says about Perot, he sure seems like a patriot to me.

America and the West may have a soft underbelly with vast deposits of body fat - but it is protected with 24-inch, cold-rolled, case-hardened, armor-grade, high-alloy steel. The surface took a dent, but is still unbreached. Now, we are getting over the first burst of adrenalin, and the rash response. From here out, it will be with a deadly cold dedication to the removal and punishment of those who thought America would simply fold up and collapse.
There are tales told, of an ancient race of North American natives, who were, for the most part, peaceful and industrious, wresting a living from the arid lands of the American Southwest. Their diligence and toil led to the construction of a very complex urban structure, carved out of cliffs and canyons. But there were marauders on the borders of their homeland, who came to steal food, and goods, and harassed or even murdered some of the members of the band. The response was, when several of these marauders were caught, that one, most usually the one identified as the leader, was killed, cooked and eaten, the bones thrown in a pit with refuse, while the remainder of the captured outlaws watched. They were then turned loose, to carry the tales back to their fellow tribesman, that the same fate awaited any others who chose to encroach on the territory of the simple and rustic members of the commune.
Apparently this lesson was extremely effective. Even today, the descendents of that band of long-ago raiders speak softly of "the old ones", and have an almost exaggerated sense of propriety of the goods of others.
No time to go wobbly now.

"Collect" enough Iraqi/arab oil to pay for all this 5-10 times over. Be generous. Give military HUGE bonus/benefits, cut taxes, won't cost the taxpayer anything anyhow so the gov't doesn't have fret about revenues.

I would like to see scholarships given to college students who report to the FBI bona fide terrorists on student visas.

this is true. and it appears the mercenaries lined up are of the ancestral origins to pull it off. unofficially, of course.

while this *may* be true about ross, his 1st motive in all likeliness is not necessarily patriotism.
To: Anonymous2
Perhaps, but reflect upon his actions during the Iranian hostage crisis.
What explanation would you propose?

visibility=money=power.

and power=visibility=power
To: Anonymous2
Yea, it's too bad that stories of his involvement in the hostage situation took a few years to break.
