FWIW it was a tragedy -- of our government falling down BIG TIME in its role of defending the people.

After the first WTC bombing authorities let the net fade away, and wasted weeks looking for Serbs and Sikhs, anyone but those "peace-loving Moslems".

OK, the feds (mostly because of Slick) dropped the ball bigtime, but the media and other elites (Hollywood) always use the word "tragedy" when referring to the WTC/Pentagon Massacre. This implies an accident, or an unpreventable event, rather than a deliberate act and therefore evil to be destroyed. If continued, such weasel words may dilute the nation's will and unity. At least that's my fear. It also simply offends me to my soul.
