TV news added the info that he had gone into a gun shop asking for maps of hunting area around Salem Power plant, while holding a Global positioning Sensor in his hand. The gunshop owner had never seen a hunter equipped with one, so notified authorities. If previously posted in greater detail, please forgive me--it didn't come up on my search.

His attorney did admit that his client did overstay his visa and was wrongly in possession of firearms as an illegal alien. Illegal possession of a firearm...felony offense, if you're a citizen, you get locked up, if you're not...then what?

For gosh sakes, put him on the next flight home! No way. Question him around the clock for at least 48 straight hours. If he knows anything, we need to find out.

I hope the FBI has now come to the realization that they'd do well to start tracking down all visa overstayers. Just putting their names into NCIC would be a big help.

Ship them out !!!

But U. S. Magistrate Judge Mary Pat Thynge says there is no proof Raza Khan is involved in any terrorist activities. Might I add that this Judge is one of the most liberal dipsticks in Wilmington?

Overstayed his visa, possesses firearms illegally, and needs to be tried and incarcerated. As long as he is in prison he will be providing amusement, no doubt, to the guards and other inmates, and won't be blowing up any nuclear power plants, helping terrorists, and so forth. Oh, ping me, ACLU Types, but the fellow or possible islamic terrorist will be in jail for somethings he already did, and for the duration of his sentence won't be out on the loose in America doing the islamic thing.

22,000+ gun laws that STILL don't work. LMAO

A federal judge in Wilmington has ordered an illegal Pakistani immigrant to be held without bail. There is that pesky "illegal" word again. I wonder what kind of visa he had? We need to know.

Unfortunately--"mistakes are made...."
Muslim Couple Mistaken for Terrorists in Delaware
DAGSBORO, DE: September 28, 2001 Action News reporter Vernon Odom has the couple's story.
The recent update in security on airlines, trucks and its drivers has caused trouble for one local Muslim couple. Devout Muslims Shaaheen Muhammad and his wife Bahiya, couriers for a Montgomery County company, were mistaken for terrorists Thursday night in rural Delaware. They say they got roughed up by police because of their religious attire. According to Shaaheen Muhammad, one of the police officers told them: "We don't only stop because of color anymore, we stop according to your dress code."
The alleged comment happened during a traffic stop near Dagsboro in Sussex County. The couple was driving a rental truck looking for the Indian River Power Plant to make an assigned pickup. A state police officer joined the local police chief there.
For more than an hour, the Muhammads claim they were detained, handcuffed, cursed and abused by officials. "This guy pulls me out of the car, throws me on the ground, and puts a gun at my head and tells me to put my hands behind my back," Shaaheen Muhammad says. "I remember him standing outside with a gun pointing at my face, telling me to get the [expletive] out of the car," says Bahiya Muhammad.
Eventually the Muhammads say the police looked at their credentials and paperwork and checked out their story. According to Shaaheen Muhammad, "The Dagsboro cop headed down the road, and then he came back maybe 20 minutes later and said, 'Bad news guys, these people are legit.'"
The police chief blames the incident on a civilian the Muhammad's had asked for directions. Shaaheen Muhammad says, "He ran in there telling them that we were two Muslims strapped with arms in a Pensky rental truck headed for the power plant. And he said that's why they acted the way they were, he didn't offer an apology, they just said have a good day."
The Muhammads say they're considering a civil rights lawsuit. The police chief in Dagsboro denies any wrongdoing towards the Muhammads. He added that his department and many others are on a high state of alert following the acts of September 11th.

His attorney did admit that his client did overstay his visa Round up and deport all 9+ million illegal aliens and deport them NOW!!! It is incomprehensible that the world's greatest knowledge economy can't keep track of when every visa expires. Then, send an INS agent three weeks before expiration to demand to see the one-way ticket home.
Rid the nation of illegal aliens for security reasons, and for economic reasons.
PS: Exile crooked immigration lawyers, too!

I think that's the law we need to pass.
Convicted terrorists will be jailed with the general prison population.
Put 'em in a prison in New York or Virginia and they'd would not survive
as long as the WTC Towers did after being hit by jets.

It wasn't because of their religious attire.
It's because they looked like member of the Taliban in the middle of rural America.
It's not a good thing...but they should either take some money out of their
bank account (or get a loan) and buy a clue.
