Praise Report!!!

My oldest daughter, Sarah, has been desperately ill these past few days and hospitaized with multiple infections and dehydration. But God's great mercy has prevailed, and she is doing better! Thank you all for your prayers, and please don't stop! God is on the move and is victorious! Betsy still has not contacted us, but God is working there too.

Again, thank you all for your prayers!

Rejoicing over Sarah's improvement, and continuing to pray for Betsy, Lee.

Regarding my Uncle Franklin, he was scheduled for surgery Friday. Thursday night he suffered cardiac arrest, but they brought him back and did the surgery the next day, as planned - a bypass and replacement of two valves. At last report, he seems to be okay, even wiggled his toes at a nurse's request (at his age, a stroke during surgery was a possibility). He's in his 80s, a an Army Air Corps veteran of WWII (North Africa) and a sweet guy. Thank you for your prayers, and please continue to pray for his recovery.

I'm glad things are coming along for your family. I'll keep praying!

Mountaineer, I'm glad your uncle came through his surgery!

I have a few prayer requests today. One is for a neighbor, Beverly, that broke her foot in July. She is not healing well. She has an appointment with her Dr. next week to determine whether she will need surgery.

My other request is for my neighbor John, who was diagnosed with MS last year. He has gotten worse and now must use a wheelchair. Please pray for him, his wife that takes excellent care of him, and their two children. Thanks.

"1 Make a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands:
2 Sing forth the honour of his name: make his praise glorious.
3 Say unto God, How terrible art thou in thy works! through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee.
4 All the earth shall worship thee, and shall sing unto thee; they shall sing to thy name. Selah.
5 Come and see the works of God: he is terrible in his doing toward the children of men.
6 He turned the sea into dry land: they went through the flood on foot: there did we rejoice in him.
7 He ruleth by his power for ever; his eyes behold the nations: let not the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah.
8 O bless our God, ye people, and make the voice of his praise to be heard:
9 Which holdeth our soul in life, and suffereth not our feet to be moved.
10 For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried.
11 Thou broughtest us into the net; thou laidst affliction upon our loins.
12 Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place.
13 I will go into thy house with burnt offerings: I will pay thee my vows,
14 Which my lips have uttered, and my mouth hath spoken, when I was in trouble.
15 I will offer unto thee burnt sacrifices of fatlings, with the incense of rams; I will offer bullocks with goats. Selah.
16 Come and hear, all ye that fear God, and I will declare what he hath done for my soul.
17 I cried unto him with my mouth, and he was extolled with my tongue.
18 If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:
19 But verily God hath heard me; he hath attended to the voice of my prayer.
20 Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me."
(Psalm 66)

Heavenly Father, you heard my cries for help when I was so afraid for my daughter that I could not form words. You heard the anguish in my heart, and answered the needs without delay! You drove away the demons that tried to take her from us, You caused her physicians to order the correct tests and prescribe the medicines needed to heal her! You helped the nurses find a vein for her IV when they couldn't find one! You revealed medicines that she is allergic to, so she will not be harmed in the future! You did all this, but then did more! Because of her illness, Sarah and I were able to spend much time talking about You, and she is comforted. We are infinitely stronger now as a family...and satan has lost her!!! Praise You Father! Do You hear my heart singing? I know You do...Thank You Father, thank You!
