It's about the perception of power. I am obviously not as well-versed on Klayman and Krewe as many here are, but it's not hard to see what they're after! They want a "following," and what they perceive as respect from the easily misguided. It's always about power. Not necessarily money. And if they make themselves "targets," then they are "martyrs" of the "abuse." From what I've seen, a terribly pathetic grab for attention.

But its tax forms show that it spent only 5.8% of the $12.4 million it raised from donors and foundations in 1998 on litigation. ........
