This is one of Bush's best tricks - give people enough rope and they will hang themselves. Just when the guy thought he had an in with the President, he blows it by showing his true colors. Believe me, the President values loyalty - this guy will never get the ear of the President again - EVER!!

Just to insert some brevity into this post, my conversation with a Muslim co-worker last week.
Someone asked what a cruel torture it must be to die a martyr and go to paradise with all those beautiful virgins WHO REMAIN VIRGINS!!!!!
Somehow this guy got onto how his family raised horses, and horses and human are the only creatures who have hymans (the part of the anatomy that determines virginity). I asked him 4 times "How do you KNOW that", before he smiled and gave me a funny stare. T'was a good laugh.... assuming of course he really does have a sense of humor!!

Right on the money, Johniegrad. Your education was not wasted. It left you extraordinarily enlightened.
In fact, our fellow Americans who harbor suspcious feelings toward our good Muslim neighbors will surely have to eat a TON of crow, when American Muslim leaders come out and forthrightly condemn worldwide Islamic terrorism. Any day now, a well known Muslim cleric will step forward to roundly excoriate those bad Sudanese. No doubt about it. You know Muslims are enslaving Africans there and persecuting African Christians? Well, johniegrad, it won't be long now. An American Muslim leader will surely step forward and condemn it. No doubt in my mind.
Like you, johniegrad, I just have a gut feeling that hundreds, nay thousands, of our American Muslim neighbors are on the phone to the FBI as we speak, and the INS, dropping a dime on shady activities among their mosque members.
To our suspicious fellow Americans, johniegrad and I say, "honi soit qui mal y pense."
Johnie is the grad, he'll translate, if necessary.

Tell your friend to look for the threads called FReeoples. That's where all his friends from L.com hang out. It'll be "old home week" for him. :)

Thanks for the flag OKCSub
I am writing my Congressmen now in the same tune as Newt's letter to Colin Powell.

I think our "friends" who support the FBI would disagree with you. Since, according to them, the FBI never makes mistakes, it obviously was the FBI's intention to put a Muslim extremist next to the president.
Additionally, the FBI is covering for these extremists only because we are confused, and the extremists are actually "good guys."
Yep, we (and the president) are in good hands.

I, for one, do not have a tin ear for your well-placed irony, JG.
Kudos!

Bumping reply #119.

Looks like they all did not get lucky in the lottery to choose who are and who aren't terrorists.

In his speech to Hildebeaste Rotten-KKKli'toon and the other two houses of congress -- and despite that, in not much more than half a century, is has been responsible for more mass murders than have been committed in all of the rest of recorded history -- Mr Bush even avoided including "communism" in his grab bag of Evils.
For fear, one supposes, of impeding his family's business -- and/or upsetting Uncle Prescott Bush by offending the mass-murdering, [Ninety-millions -- and counting] psychopathological, Peking-based heirs and assignees of history's most prolific mass murderer -- the predatory-child-raping, mass-murdering medieval monster: Mao Tze Tung.

Some say that Islam is a peaceful religion, but they don't refute statements that people claim are in the Koran. I want an answer that I can believe. If Islam is a "peaceful religion", I want to know. If it isn't, we'd better be ready for a religious war.Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be a peaceful religion. In the Koran it talks about how it is better to kill an infidel (non-muslim) than to convert to their religion.
Pretty scary stuff.

Why hasn't the IRS revoked the tax-exempt status of the mosques where these clerics preach for getting involved in political actions as the IRS had done and has threatened to do to churches?

Why hasn't the IRS revoked the tax-exempt status of the mosques where these clerics preach for getting involved in political actions as the IRS had done and has threatened to do to churches? Some religions are more equal than others.
