From an Israeli I suppose, but written with a reactionary viewpoint that offers no solution. Yes, it is a war, but not necessarily a religious war. It is more about culture, and a sub-culture at that. We don't need to blow up Mecca. We need to punish the radical Islamic elements and their patrons in various totalitarian governments that promote war. Punish them militarily, economically, politically and socially. Their weapon is intolerance. We need to use that same weapon on them and do it ruthlessly and without remorse while continuing to show friendship and tolerance for those Moslems who do not live by hate.

And in what country exactly are these moslems who don't hate us.

Even in the moslem governments that "support " us, the native populations are overwhelmingly in support of Jihad, or holy war against the USA.

I find it amazing that people continue to practice self deception.

We attack one half of Islam, while stroking the other with assurances. What a moronic statement. They are the right and left half of the same body. This author is correct, unless we are willing to committ mayhem against the enemy, and the enemy is all of Islam, we cannot win. It is a perfect analogy, "killing the wasps but leaving the nest alone". Disagree with the author, with me, but watch and be saddened by our ineffective use of power.
