[history]
September 28, 2001 -- PACIFISTS are not serious people, although they devoutly believe they are, and their arguments are not being taken seriously at the moment. Yet, it is worth taking seriously, and in advance of need, the pacifists and their appeal.

Galatians 6:1-2
Brethren, even if anyone is caught in any trespass, you who are spiritual, restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; each one looking to yourself, so that you too will not be tempted. Bear one another's burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ.

Leskin Solvang read this on the Savage Nation radio program yesterday. The Left is just as much the enemy as the terrorists...

It is worth it, first of all, because the idea of peace is inherently attractive. Pacifism is a smokescreen for cowardice.

Pacificists (or Christian Pacificists, at least) fail to understand the fundamental difference between "turning the other cheek" when it is one's self being attacked, and "turning the other cheek" when it is another innocent person being attacked. In this second case, what they are really advocating is "looking the other way" -- turning our backs on the plight of our innocent neighbors right at their moment of greatist peril. These "Pacificists" pretend to be taking a stand of "principle" and occupying the moral high ground. Really? Suppose a rabid dog were to threaten to attack their baby; would they "turn the other cheek" to the dog, taking a "principled stand of non-violence?" Were such to actually happen, we would lock such people up in jail, and rightly so. The position they are advocating in the case of our response to the terrorist threat is NO DIFFERENT WHATSOEVER.
How dare these evil, cowardly, sorry excuses for humanity condemn us for trying to protect innocent men, women, and children from further terrorist attacks!
