I have been struck, too, by people admitting that their instinct for self-preservation has been stifled by PC. I've actually heard callers (NPR) saying that they are now ashamed to realize that they were looking at Arabs at the airport with greater suspicion -- but they're OK now, their PC override is back on! Frightening for the long run. What has happened is that, with the attack, the natural instincts of people came to the forefront. Now, after 2 weeks, the media's constant liberal PC drone has resumed its soporific effect. Back to sleep, America!

The "war" will be won or lost contingent upon whether the PC idiots REALLY ARE that stupid and short-sighted, or if they can shake off the blinders and see what's going on. One more attack on American soil should crystalize the true nature of our national psyche. IMO. Anyone who's still chanting PC mantras, at that point, is beyond hope. We can only hope their numbers will be diminished to the point of irrelevance.
