President Bush 2002 Calendar - Possible FR Fund Raiser?

A couple of nights ago, there was some enthusiastic discussion on the "A Day in the Life of President Bush" thread regarding somehow having a 2002 calendar made up with pictures of President Bush in it, perhaps as a Free Republic fund-raiser. We need everyone's input! Please post any pictures that you would like to see included in this calendar. We also would like for everyone to vote for their favorite two or three pictures from the ones that are shared.

He's not getting one penny, one ounce of support, one vote for any Republican, until he stands before the American people and demands that Congress issue a formal Declaration Of War against el Queda, bin Laden, Hamas, Hezbollah, Saddam, the Baath Party, and all who would murder Americans on their own soil.

The only war I've seen since 9/11 is a war against the liberties of American citizens.

I've been there. Let's let them do what they need to do without any second guessing. It takes time to do things right. I would rather they did it right rather than fast. Fewer crying mommas down the road if you catch my drift.

I hate to say this, but there are copyright problems. Those pictures are actually the property of the organizations that post them. We are free to post them under "fair use" but we cannot print them and use them for a fundraiser.

Last summer A Citizen Reporter and I were sent pictures by a wonderful photographer who worked for a wire service. We would post them on the Bush/Cheney Victory Tour threads. Often we got the pictures before the press groups got them. When the wire service found out, he got in big trouble and we were not allowed to use them anymore.

I am certain the same thing would happen with this, and I am also sure I do not want to cause Jim Robinson any more legal hassles. Sorry!

If he were so dumb as to do that, he could not target bin Laden for death or even capture. bin Laden would would be raised to the level of opposing soldier instead of criminal murderer that he is.

You hope to goad us into makeing bin laden a soldier with whom were are at war, rather than a dangerous crminal who can be captured and paraded before teh courts of teh world for the incompetent fool that Allah knows he is.

We shall of course continue to treat the terorist Arabs as criminals doomed for death by any and all means we find pleasure in using.

As criminals Arabs can be interorgated by means that are not allowed by the rules of war. So you and your taliban will suffer death and destruction.

Declare war? We will never raise you above the class of criminal that Allah knows you to be.

W has been calling this a "war" for two weeks, and the timid Congress has issued no Declaration Of War. And has not done so since December 8, 1941.

Korea, Vietnam, Somalia, Kosovo.

Would you care to explain how this person's post makes him so, for from this post I can not see your point or proof.

Uh, bad news, your a little too late, Bin Laden has already declared War on us.

Again, we are at war. No matter what choice of words one wishes to use.

The rule of War is to win that war. Anything less leaves one a loser, even if he "wins".

Whoa boy! I don't know about you, but I'm rather enjoying the slow, steady tightening of the noose on bin Laden, the Taliban and all their henchmen. Action will be taken, but at the most appropriate and effective time. I wouldn't be in too much of a hurry to send our boys into a fray. If you can accomplish some of the dirty work by using other methods than combat first, you're much better off. You eliminate their ability to wage war again in this country. You clean out the country of illegals, tie up their money connections and show the rest of the world just how restrained you can be. Then, when you've got them all by the balls, you go in for the kill. Great strategy, not to mention how much it must be killing them psychologically. They know their end is coming, they just don't know when. It's lucious!

Ok, let's say we forget the fund raiser idea, but would there be any problem making them up for use in our own homes?

Honestly there might be a problem "endorsing" a candidate if you want to connect it with FR. I'd check with Jim, but usually that is a sore subject among forum participants.
