What you have there is a 747 going down in flames into New York Harbor ... nice enlargment!
Notice this was put up at an Islamic *school* in the Netherlands, where religious schools are subsidized by the state. Voucher schools, anyone?
Upon further review of the calendar picture in post #56, it shows the aircraft coming toward the front which may not have been clear in the first posting. The fireball trails the aircraft making it appear to have gone through one of the buildings in the background. BUT, the fireball in the reflection off the water shows it to be just at the rear of the plane. But is that the relection of the intact World Trade Towers off the water?
The presumption is that the aircraft was sabotaged or suffered a major mechanical failure and not a suicidal pilot as many believe. "I am supported by Allah, to die for Allah," is what the pilot was reported to say.
There is a quirk in that the Egyptian flight crashed outside of Nantucket and not near the Statue of Liberty as the picture shows.
Strange coincidence nonetheless if it is a coincidence.
